About Brinc and Callmi

Brinc is a global venture accelerator dedicated to helping founders solve the world’s most pressing problems. After acquiring Callmi, the Middle East’s #1 mentorship platform, Brinc set out to elevate the platform’s reach. Callmi allows users to book 1:1 video calls with the region’s most in-demand experts, connecting them with valuable advice and mentorship.

Challenge:

We had helped Brinc’s Head of Partnership and Co-founder previously, so after they acquired Callmi, their team approached us.

The Brinc team approached us for assistance in overcoming two critical marketplace challenges:

  1. Attracting Mentors: Building a robust pool of experts (the value providers).
  2. Engaging Customers: Driving sign-ups and bookings (the value receivers).

This “cold start problem” is common in marketplaces and required a strategic approach to kickstart both supply and demand simultaneously.
