Buildspace used to run a 6-week online program called Nights and Weekends, featuring weekly lectures on design, marketing, and writing. During the program, participants worked on their ideas and shared weekly updates.
Around the time, Buildspace also launched Sage - an AI platform for builders to connect and collaborate. Everyone who joined their nights and weekends program was automatically part of their AI platform.
In season 3 of this program, Buildspace hit almost 20,000 participants. For the upcoming season 4, they wanted to double it.
They needed help in getting more sign ups.
We implemented three strategies:

Buildspace’s YouTube channel featured long-form lectures, which we repurposed into aesthetic short-form video clips. We launched a new Instagram page and used the link in bio to drive traffic to their landing page. Starting from scratch, we grew the page organically to 450K+ impressions and 2.3K followers within two months. (The page has since been inactive, leading to a decline in reach.)
To spark excitement about Sage, we also created animated video stories showcasing people in the program. Here’s an example. We went beyond simply repurposing lecture content and focused on making the videos engaging and creative.
